Reginald Bernard John Gadney (January 20, 1941 – May 1, 2018) was a British painter, art historian and writer who contributed to The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. He wrote the teleplay for the episode "Paris, September 1908", which introduced young Indiana Jones to a young Norman Rockwell and Pablo Picasso while exploring the artistic subcultures of Paris, reflecting Gadney's personal background in the visual arts.
In addition to his career as a portrait artist, Gadney wrote several screenplays and television dramas. He wrote the 1983 miniseries Kennedy, adapted The Sculptress by Minette Walters for the BBC, and wrote 1989's Goldeneye, a television film about James Bond creator Ian Fleming.
