Behind the scenes[]
Despite the first panel stating that the story is set in the early 1930s, Indiana Jones mentions the events from the previous issue which is set in 1936 after Raiders of the Lost Ark in which Jones and Marion Ravenwood are reunited thus the "Revenge of the Ancients" dating is likely an error.
