Riley was a doctor from Hiob. He worked fifty years as a doctor before his death in the winter of 1942.
Biography[]
Doc Riley was born in 1865 somewhere in America. He later relocated to Hiob, Utah in 1892, to practice medicine as he loved the countryside.
On June 20, 1942, a young boy, with his parents Susana and Jebediah Kramer, brought an unconscious native to him but Riley couldn't identify the man. He requested that Jebediah Kramer to bring an old friend of his who lived nearby, a Navajo-Indian medicine man called Grauer Bär. The medicine man recognized their patient as an Anasazi, but kept that knowledge to himself, and the Anasazi passed away.
Doc Riley himself died the following year, in the winter of 1942, after contracting a fever.
