A Russian suit was a KGB agent operating in the United States of America in 1957 whose main task was to capture American archaeologist Indiana Jones.

Biography[]

He along with three others were assigned to follow Mutt Williams so as to capture Indiana Jones. When he and another agent failed to apprehend Jones at Arnie's Diner, they gave chase in two separate cars. The agent pursued Jones into a small park, but Jones and Mutt escaped through an alleyway which was too narrow for the Russian car to fit.[1]

After the other agent's car crashed into a statue of Marcus Brody, his comrade continued to give chase across the Marshall College campus. Eventually, Jones and Mutt escaped into a library. The agent moved to confront them inside but heard sirens nearby and got back into the car, which promptly drove away.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Russian Suit 2 was played by Ilia Volok and was doubled by David Kilde in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The film's script identified the character simply as "Russian 2".[1]
