This was one of the two Motorcycle & Sidecars tasked with escorting the two Nazi Officers within the Staff Car. It was a fast and maneuverable vehicle armed with an MG-42 on the sidecar, though as a counterbalance from this it was very frail as most bikes are when compared to vehicles like the Staff Car. It was able to carry two occupants, a driver & gunner.
History[]
In 1944 during the Nazi's looting of France, more specifically at the Nazi Stronghold it was one of the two vehicles tasked with escorting the Staff Car. That night it was involved in the Besançon escape attempt, where an American Spy (now revealed to be American archaeologist Indiana Jones) infiltrated the main Staff Car, and later on and pulled aggressively away from the convoy. In response this both of the Motorbike & Sidecars followed pursuit. As the other one of the pair pulled forward, the driver signaled to the American conspirator to halt the vehicle; in response Jones sharply turned the Staff Car, crushing the other Motorbike & Sidecar in-between itself and the mountain face which as a result caused it to flip ultimately destroying it killing both occupants.
As a result the crew of the second Motorbike & Sidecar decided to take more aggressive action, as it throttled with its weaponry pointed. As this was took place, Jones leaped from the staff car onto the sidecar, attacking the crew in an attempt to hijack the vehicle. The sidecar machine-gunner was thrown off by Jones, leading to him getting crushed under the Staff Cars wheels killing him. Moments later after a quick succession of events, the entire escort was destroyed apart from the second Motorbike & Sidecar with the driver and Jones left alive. What follow was an intense fight on the small piece of equipment, which at this point was plummeting uncontrollably at full speed down another grassy embankment before suddenly being majorly damaged on purpose by Jones when the sidecar section hit a tree, destroying it, taking the German machine-gunner with it. The remaining motorbike was used by Indy to catch up with a Nazi Loot Train in order to board and commence the following event.
