Sallah Tours was a business established by Sallah Mohammed Faisel el-Kahir and Indiana Jones around 1935 to finance their excavation of the Temple of the Forbidden Eye when the original funding began to run out. After Jones went missing during his exploration of the Indian site, Sallah Tours continued to operate in the hope that one of tourists sent into the temple could see what had become of the archaeologist.[1]
