The Sargasso Sea is a region in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean, surrounded by ocean currents. It is notable for its becalmed, seaweed-laden waters.
Adventures in the Sargasso Sea[edit | edit source]
In 1939, Indiana Jones and his companions, Bill Lawton, Cairo and New Jersey Jones drifted into the Sargasso Sea. There they found stranded ships dating back centuries as well as Sargasso Bay, a "city of ships" in which there lived a gang of pirates led by The Sea Witch.
