The Septuagint is the earliest extant Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible from the original Hebrew. It was written in Koine Greek.

Magnus Völler, a Nazi archaeologist and rival of Indiana Jones, had claimed fragments of the Septuagint by early 1939.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The Septuagint is mentioned as part of Magnus Völler's backstory for author Rob MacGregor's unpublished novelization of Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings.[1] The game itself has no references at all to the Septuagint.[2]
