As a spy during World War I, Indiana Jones attempted to travel to Russia via Serbia but his train was derailed by an explosion and he broke his arm. He was accompanied by a man named Nikos who helped Jones back across the border to Greece so he could recuperate at Nikos' home.[1]

In 1930, Henry Jones traveled to Belgrade on the Orient Express in search of clues to the location of the Holy Grail.[2]
