Shake, Rattle and Roll was a popular American rock and roll song in the 1950s. Originally recorded as a blues song by Big Joe Turner, a rock and roll version was released by Bill Haley & His Comets in 1954.
In 1957, the version by Bill Haley & His Comets was on the jukebox at Arnie's Diner. The song began playing just as a fight broke out between the college students and the greasers - a fight started as a distraction to help Indiana Jones and Mutt Williams escape from some Soviet agents in suits.
