Slavery is a system under which people are treated as property to be bought and sold.
History[]
Indiana Jones briefly experienced the life of a slave when he was kidnapped in Morocco during his father's world lecture tour. He and his friend Omar were rescued by Walter Harris during a Marrakesh slave auction but Omar, already in servitude to Emily Keene and her husband, was returned to the Sharifa.[1]
Gangster Lao Che made his fortune in part thanks to white slavery.[2] Chon Li also had a hand in the practice of slavery.[3]
The children of the Mayapore village were enslaved by the Thuggee cult of Pankot Palace. Indiana Jones and his friends Short Round and Willie Scott freed the slave children in 1935.
