In 1969, Doctor Jürgen Voller, the Nazi-turned-NASA physicist living in America as "Professor Schmidt", stayed at the St Regis for the Apollo 11 ticker tape parade. There, he was attended by a porter and interviewed by a journalist for his involvement in the space program.[1]
