Stargazer was an American celebrity tabloid magazine. Commonly found in supermarket checkout aisles, it frequently carried sensational articles reporting on celebrity relationships and bizarre occurrences.
One issue of Stargazer in 1993 claimed that Madonna was believed to be the love child of Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe, Meryl Streep was an android and that Mikhail Gorbachev may be having an affair with Jane Fonda. The articles' lack of credibility prompted an older Indiana Jones to recount his own celebrity affair with Mata Hari in 1916.[1]
