By 1957. a Connecticut branch of State Farm was situated opposite Arnie's Diner in the Marshall College town of Bedford. Mutt Williams and Indiana Jones drove past it on Williams's motorcycle after they instigated a fight at the eatery.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
State Farm is a group of insurance companies.[2] The exterior buildings outside Arnie's Diner, including the (fictitious) State Farm branch, were shot at Paramount Studios in 2007,[3] specifically on the New York Backlot.[4] The building can be seen through the window behind Indiana Jones as he's talking to Mutt Williams about the Crystal Skull of Akator,[1] as well in the film's behind-the-scenes footage.[3][5]
