Steven Allan Spielberg is a filmmaker.
Biography[]
Spielberg had posted a note on the Barnett College bullentin board. Signing as "S. Spielberg", he announced that he had 6000 rats and 500 snakes for sale in 1938.[1]
In 1986, Steven Spielberg won the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award.[2]
He once wore a cap for the film E.T. II as he watched Raiders of the Lost Brick in a theater alongside fellow filmmaker George Lucas.[3]
Jock Lindsey once got Spielberg off some island. To thank him, Spielberg donated the tooth of a Tyrannosaurus Rex to his bar with the message "Thanks for getting me off the island -S.".[4]
Spielberg's portrait was hung among others at a barber shop on Monkey Island visited by Guybrush Threepwood.[5]
Behind the scenes[]
In real life, Steven Spielberg is the co-creator of the Indiana Jones franchise, serving as the director of the first four films and as the executive producer of the fifth one.[6][7][8][9][10]
Continuity[]
As Spielberg's appearances in-universe are as isolated easter eggs, gags and/or cameos, there is no coherent chronological narrative as they're not designed to tell a story in and of themselves.

His name is mentioned in the bulletin board that Indiana (the player) can read in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure. This is one of the many intertextual humorous references, typical of LucasArts point-and-click games. Here, the joke is based on the large quantities of rats and snakes used in Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, directed by Steven Spielberg.
In his appearance in LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick, Spielberg wears a cap saying E.T. II[3] as a reference to E.T. II: Nocturnal Fears, the planned sequel for his 1982 film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, which was ultimately cancelled.[11]

Spielberg makes a cameo as photo in Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine's Aetherium level. The player is teleported to the Barbery Coast, a location from the Curse of Monkey Island, decorated with portraits of behind-the-scenes people, including Spielberg.[5]
Spielberg is alluded to at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar at Disneyland as "S." with the dinosaur tooth and the thanking message.[4] It's alleged that the item was actually donated to the bar by Spielberg himself which serves as an easter egg in reference to both the director's 1993 film Jurassic Park - which featured a theme park of genetically engineered dinosaurs with the T-Rex as its best known attraction - and pilot Fred Sorenson, Jock's actor, having rescued Spielberg and other crew members stranded by Hurricane Iniki while filming on the Hawaiian island of Kaua'i.[12]
