The Taj Mahal is a famous mausoleum located in the city of Agra, India.
History[]
The Taj Mahal was constructed over two decades in the 1600s by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his queen.
It was one of the sites that Professor Henry Jones, Sr. named in 1908 to coax Helen Margaret Seymour into tutoring his son during the Jones family's world lecture tour.[1] They would visit the Taj Mahal in 1910 prior to Indiana Jones meeting Jiddu Krishnamurti in Benares.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
