There's another group of women who might warrant, not an inclusion on the proper list, but maybe a subsection or something. Women who displayed an interest in Indiana, even if nothing happened or he simply did not return their feelings. Women like Rosie in "Princeton, February 1916", Rosa in "Petrograd, July 1917" Susie in the Young Indiana Jones and the Mystery of the Blues, Shirley in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Then, of course, there's also the additional Venice nurses in Tales of Innocence, and his students in Raiders and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Though, then we're dealing with masses of unnamed characters, rather than individual characters (even if they'd really highlight Indy's appeal to the opposite sex). Another character of note would be Henrietta in Love's Sweet Song. A character framed as Indy having showed in interest in her, when they first met, only for her to reject him when she sees him working below deck on the ship. At the same time I do must admit that adding a subsection or two around these kinds of characters would risk inviting speculation and head canon. With Henrietta, we'd also be running the risk of having to include any woman that Indy merely looks at (ex. the unnamed young woman on the train in Spring Break Adventure).KylieMfever (talk) 19:09, 7 June 2025 (UTC)
- It comes across as (metaphorical) notches on a bedpost to me. Some were on this page in an "honorable mentions" section which is "blech!" Vetinari(Appointment) 20:17, 8 June 2025 (UTC)
