Leaving Tanis and going to Geheimhaven[]
What proof is there that this character went to Geheimhaven and died there? Is he seen there? A submarine is not very big, and would already be full of its own crew, and while it makes sense to shut down the Tanis operation after the discovery of the Ark, most likely the support staff at Tanis, like the mechanic, did not all ride back on the submarine.. only those who were planning on intercepting the Bantu Wind, like Belloq, Toht, and Dietrich would go. the rest of the staff would leave Tanis in a not-quite-as-quick fashion, and most likely not catch up to the submarine. again, where's the proof he was there?
