Apart from the the History section, how much of this article is in-universe?

The actual China Clipper was a Martin M-130 plane that traveled the route between San Francisco and Manila, Philippines via Honolulu (Hawaii), Midway, Wake, and Guam. The Pacific Clipper was a Boeing 314 seaplane that traveled from San Francisco to New Zealand via Hawaii and other stops.

Is that actually referenced in-universe or is it from From Star Wars To Indiana Jones - The Best of the Lucasfilm Archives which would make it behind the scenes info? Vetinari (Appointment) 22:19, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

  • I'm not sure about all of it, but the plane is noted as the "China Clipper" and is called a Martin M-130 in Indiana Jones: The Ultimate Guide, and there's a ticket stub in The Lost Journal of Indiana Jones that lists him going from San Francisco to Kathmandu via HNL, AWK, and MNL (which in the real world are Honolulu, Wake Island, and Manilla). The stub doesn't list Midway or Guam, which were both stops on the real Clipper's flight from the US to Asia, but since those stops weren't shown in the movie, apparently they aren't made in the Indyverse. jSarek 01:44, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
