Thad Priestly was a professor at Marshall University where he was an acquaintance of Indiana Jones.[1]
In 1937, while Jones was inundated with angry students and other obligations, Priestly took the opportunity to gloat over a giant fish he had caught and presented the archaeologist, recently returned from a wasted fishing trip in Scotland, with picture of a "Moby Dick".[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Thad Priestly was a character created for Indiana Jones and the Monkey King,[1] a story ultimately rejected for the third Indiana Jones movie in favor of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.[2]
