"Thank the colonel for me!"
Indiana Jones[src]

The Colonel was a friend of Indiana Jones who had access to planes in Asia.

In 1936, the Colonel helped give Jones an airlift aboard NC13347 to Mount Manaslu in the Himalayas of Nepal. The Colonel relayed Jones' parachute orders through one of his men, Tommy.

Behind the scenesEdit

It is not clear whether "The Colonel" is simply the military rank of Jones' friend, or a nickname based on having attained the military rank of colonel.
