The Daily Chronicle was an English-language newspaper, published daily from New York City.
Indiana Jones kept a copy of the front page of the January 6, 1936 paper in his journal. The headline for this issue was "Tensions rise as Nazis gain power", and pictured a Nazi troop parade. Articles included news on President Roosevelt's Inaugural Address warning Congress about potential war, and the resignation of the League of Nations High Commissioner for Refugees from Germany.
