The Search for the Oryx was a softcover graphic novel that adapted the episode "British East Africa, September 1909" of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. It was second is a series of three, and was released by several publishers, including W. D. Publications / Hollywood Comics, and Golden Press. Multiple covers are known to exist.

It used the comic adaptation originally published by Dark Horse Comics in issues #3 and #4 of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles comic series: "British East Africa, September 1909", by Dan Barry and Gray Morrow.
