The Spider-Man Comic was a comic series published in the UK by Marvel's British imprint. During its lengthy run reprinting American Spider-Man comics and serializing other licenses as back-up stories, the book went through several title changes.
As simply Spider-Man, issue 590 began reprinting Marvel's comic adaptation of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom followed by stories from The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones.
Indiana Jones eventually received his own title but the run only lasted eleven issues before returning to the Spider-Man book with The Spider-Man Comic 646. However, material not aimed at younger readers was soon phased out as the book took on a new direction.
