The Waterhole was a Hollywood bar and diner.
History[]
In 1920, working as an assistant for John Ford to pay for tuition costs, Indiana Jones was sent to The Waterhole to recruit Wyatt Earp as a consultant on Six Steps to Hell. When Jones first entered the establishment, it looked like any other sleepy diner until he headed into the back and discovered a rowdy bar room filled with rough saloon types. The room fell silent at the arrival of the fedora-wearing stranger but once Earp found out that he was an associate of Ford and actor Harry Carey, the man reassured the others present and piano music replaced the tense atmosphere.[1]
