"Coming early in 1992 on ABC"
The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles series trailer was a 1991 advertisement used to promote the 1992 debut of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles coming to the ABC television network. The commercial was included on VHS cassettes as part of a McDonald's restaurant promotional campaign that sold the first three Indiana Jones films for $5.99 each with the purchase of a large sandwich, breakfast sandwich or extra-value meal. The offer ran for three weeks at participating United States of America s restaurants from December 16, 1991 through January 13, 1992.[1]
The three-and-a-half-minute trailer commercial featured an elderly Indiana Jones narrating over a montage of scenes from the then-upcoming television series.
The background music featured in the ad is "Reach for the Stars" from the Associated Production Music, LLC album Fantasia by Richard Harvey.[2]
