Tongdang was a Thai trader whose hut was situated just outside Khaimuk Sakskit village in Sukhothai.
Biography[]
In November 1937, Tongdang was informed by Pailin Chaladphukhealom, leader of the Tigers resistance cell, that he should expect the arrival of archaeologist Indiana Jones, who was in Siam looking to acquire the hidden Wavebreaker Relic out from under the expedition of his Nazi rival Emmerich Voss.[1]
When Jones visited Tongdang at his hut, the trader sold him a rebreather to better help navigate Sukhothai as much of the region had been cut off by recent flooding from torrential rains, necessitating travel by boat.[1]

Tongdang had a prosthetic left leg.[2]
