Tsuzumi Boshi was a secret operation given to Indiana Jones by Colonel Musgrove in August 1941. Jones was to investigate rumors of Japanese scientists experimenting with the supernatural.
Behind the scenes[]
"Tsuzumi boshi" is a term used to help Japanese children visualize the constellation Orion. A tsuzumi is an hourglass shaped drum of which Orion shares a resemblance while "boshi" in this context means star.
As Indiana Jones had just returned from an adventure that involved an ancient obelisk launching from Mount Sinai in the direction of Orion, Tsuzumi Boshi may give some insight into what awaited him in Japan.
