This article is non-canon. This article covers a subject that has been deemed non-canon by either the author or the Indiana Jones licensees, and thus should not be taken as a part of the "real" Indiana Jones universe.

The Ugha King was monarch of the Ugha tribe. During the search for Akator in 1957, the Ugha King kidnapped archaeologist Harold Oxley and faced his friends Indiana Jones and Marion Ravenwood in a battle.

Biography

In 1957, when Indiana Jones and his party entered the king's secret temple which was the entrance to Akator, two of his Ugha knocked out Mutt Williams and George McHale and brought archaeologist Harold Oxley before the king. With Oxley captive, the Ugha King proceeded to attack Jones and Marion Ravenwood with spears.

The pair eventually managed to knock him off from the platform on which he was standing with a giant rock boulder. However, the Ugha King kicked out the boulder and started to attack Jones and Ravenwood, who won the battle by tying him with Jones' bullwhip and leaving him being pricked with spears from the ground.

Sore from the punctures, the Ugha King pulled a lever and Oxley was launched towards him. Although failing in his attempt to catch his hostage, the Ugha King escaped with Oxley to the Temple of Akator, where he left his remaining warriors to do the rest of the work.

Behind the scenes

As with the Janitor and the Cemetery Warrior King, the Ugha King doesn't appear in the Indiana Jones movies. He was used to expand the story of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull as adapted for LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues.

It should be noted that following his escape with Harold Oxley from his secret temple, the Ugha King makes no further appearances in the game, thus leaving his fate unclear.
