Ukraine is a country in eastern Europe and was once the third largest member of the Soviet Union after Russia and Kazakhstan. During World War II it was one of the main battlefields between Soviet and Nazi German forces.
Adventures in Ukraine
Irina Spalko grew up in a village in the eastern Ukraine.
Indiana Jones and Elizabeth Cody traveled to Soviet Ukraine in 1936 to retrieve the Golden Guns of Buffalo Bill from Count Alexander Salkovich.
