Uncle Sam is a common national personification of the United States of America government, namely during World War II.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

In Steve Perry's novel Indiana Jones and the Army of the Dead, "Uncle Sam" is used to refer to the United States when the text reveals that Indiana Jones and George McHale received missions from such country as part of the MI6; in turn, United Kingdom is referred as "His Majesty's government".
