Walter "Walt" Simonson is an American comic book writer and artist. With numerous credits on books for Marvel Comics and DC Comics to his name, Simonson is perhaps best known for his work on Marvel's Thor in the 1980s.
In 1981, he wrote the Marvel adaptation of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
