Walter Granger was an American paleontologist who participated in the discovery of the first fossilized dinosaur eggs in the Gobi Desert. In 1933, he returned to Mongolia with archaeologist Indiana Jones and reporter Joan Starbuck, pursuing evidence of a living dinosaur.
