The White Lady was the Belgian underground network during World War I.
History[]
In early 1917, Indiana Jones – serving in the Belgian Army under his nom de guerre Henri Defense – forged documents requesting a transfer from the Belgian Intelligence Corps to the more respected French Secret Service for himself and fellow officer Remy Baudouin, his friend. Although the ruse was unsuccessful, both men were accepted regardless and from there, Baudouin was sent home to Brussels to become the main French contact for the White Lady while undercover as the proprietor of the Café Noir.
Behind the scenes[]
Indiana Jones was written to meet members of the Belgian resistance in the The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles episode "Ahlhorn, Late February 1917". However, this element was dropped when the story was paired with "Ravenelle, Early February 1917" to become the feature-length Young Indiana Jones and the Attack of the Hawkmen.[1]
