William "Billy" Bishop was a World War I flying ace.
Biography[edit | edit source]
During the latter half of the Great War, Billy Bishop was flying over Germany when he spotted a fellow Allied soldier in trouble aboard an enemy supply train headed back into the country. He swept down and rescued the boy with the ladder from his plane who turned out to be a young Indiana Jones on a secret mission to German High Command.
Bishop agreed to fly him there and the pair made their way through several enemy craft before they found themselves in a dogfight with the Red Baron himself. Afterwards, Bishop set down on a disused landing strip five miles south of High Command and bid a quick farewell to a grateful Jones to avoid attracting German attention.
