The beloved grandfather of American singer and actress Willie Scott was a folksy stage magician who had at least one child who became a Missouri poultry farmer with their spouse.[3] According to his grandaughter, he spent his entire life with a rabbit in his pocket and pigeons up in his sleeve. Though he managed to entertain many people, children in particular, he ultimately died penniless.[1] This made Scott determined not to follow her grandfather's path when she sought out stardom.[2]
