Wyatt Earp was a famous American lawman and gunfighter from the wild west who achieved notoriety for his involvement in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral in 1881 in Tombstone, Arizona.
Biography[]
In 1920, John Ford sent Indiana Jones to find Earp in order to see if he would act as a consultant on a Western movie that he was filming.

Wyatt Earp was portrayed by the late Leo Gordon in Young Indiana Jones and the Hollywood Follies. It was Gordon's final role.
Young Indiana Jones and the Hollywood Follies aired less than a year after the release of George P. Cosmatos' 1993 film Tombstone and Raiders of the Lost Ark writer Lawrence Kasdan's 1994 film Wyatt Earp, which both dealt with the life of Wyatt Earp and the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.
