Wyatt Earp was a famous American Lawman and gunfighter from the wild west who is famous for his involvement in the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral in 1881 in Tombstone, Arizona.

In 1920, John Ford sends Indiana Jones to find Earp in order to see if he will act as a consultant on a Western movie that he is filming.

Leo Gordon portrayed Wyatt Earp in Young Indiana Jones and the Hollywood Follies. It was Gordon's final role.
Young Indiana Jones and the Hollywood Follies aired less than a year after the release of the films Tombstone (1993) and Wyatt Earp (1994), which both dealt with the life of Wyatt Earp and the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.
