Mr. Yamaguchi was a man who attended an art auction in the early 1990s and paid four million dollars for a Degas painting. Sitting behind him, the elderly Indiana Jones complimented the man on his "good buy" to which Yamaguchi replied that he hoped to become rich enough to afford a Picasso. Jones sat back and shared a look with the woman to his left: he'd just finished telling her the story of how the painting was in fact Picasso's work.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Mr. Yamaguchi was portrayed by Matt Nikko in the bookends of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles episode "Paris, September 1908".[1]
