Yasin was the curator of a museum at Topkapi Palace in Istanbul and was a good friend of Indiana Jones and Marcus Brody.
Biography[]
At the museum's opening reception in 1939, he met Indiana Jones, who hoped that he had information useful in Jones' search for the Staff of Kings. Yasin led him to the museum rooms and showed him a mural depicting the Pharos's daughter finding baby Moses. According to Yasin, Professor Charles Kingston spent hours in this room looking for a secret passage related to the mural. He went back to the reception but allowed Indy the time he needed to discover what the mural did.

The Curator was a character exclusive to Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings for the Wii/PS2. While game materials refer to the character by his role, Jones calls him Yasin in the game dialogue.
Will Beckman is credited with being the voice actor for the Curator.
Concept art in the cutting room floor section of the game indicates that a red turban was considered for Yasin to wear.
